The Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) is a collegiate single-sport conference made up of both club and NCAA sponsored teams, the only mixed-level rifle conference in the nation. All five of the current NCAA Division III rifle programs call the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference home.
Established in 1978, the MAC is the oldest of the four present single-sport collegiate rifle conferences. Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference member institutions past and present have cemented their place in collegiate rifle history, having produced numerous All-Americans, made multiple NCAA Tournament appearances (including one NCAA Individual Champion), and earned national recognition at both the Club and NCAA level.
The MAC shall, through the practice of riflery, promote the highest ethical standards of athletic competition and individual conduct, foster the development of mutual understanding and cooperation among its Member Institutions, and work to develop complete mutual understanding of the sport among all Member Institutions.
