About the Cadets:
The Norwich University rifle team is a co-ed, NCAA Division III rifle program located in Northfield, Vermont. They are one of 23 varsity sports sponsored by the Norwich University athletics department after the program was revived in 2022 following a 17-year hiatus. Currently, they are the only NCAA Rifle team located in Vermont.
Former Norwich Cadets student-athlete Emily Caruso, the current Assistant Rifle Coach at The Ohio State University, is a two-time Olympian (2004, 2008) and the 1998 NCAA Individual Air Rifle Champion. The university also played host to the 1999 NCAA National Collegiate Rifle Championship tournament.
